Circular motion:

A simple but fascinating subject. The basics:

  • Increase in speed (around a circular trajectory i.e. a circular path/loci) results in the increase of deflection (at what direction is the resultant/net force of weight and string tension).
  • If the radius (the distance between the centre of the circular path e.g. roundabout, and the object in motion) is increase, the deflection will increase automatically.
